The Sugarcane jujube, as the name suggests, is extremely sweet. The Sugarcane jujube tree produces a small to medium fruit with a crunchy, crisp texture and an apple-like flavour. A highly favoured fruit due to its exceptional flavour and texture. Sugarcane has smaller thorns, making it a good selection for the home garden. Sugarcane jujube ripens in early autumn. Requires another jujube variety for pollination.
