FAQ

Plant Questions

How do I know if a plant is in stock?

Each plant page displays how many are currently available (e.g. “In Stock: 12 available now”). These numbers update instantly, ensuring you always have the most accurate availability. If a plant is out of stock, just click the “Notify” button and we’ll contact you as soon as it’s available again.

What size are the plants?

Most of our plants are larger than those from other online nurseries. The pot size (listed in the description) gives an idea of the plant’s height — 140mm pots usually hold 20–60 cm plants, 200mm pots 40–70 cm plants, and 4L/5L pots 50–70 cm plants. We do our best to include photos showing the actual plant size, but with thousands of varieties, it’s not always possible. Plant sizes can vary slightly depending on the season and natural growth habits. If size is important for your project, feel free to contact us before ordering.

My plant doesn't look the same as in the picture - is something wrong?

Not at all! Some of our photos show what the plants will look like once they’re mature and thriving under your care. Images of plants in full bloom or bearing fruit are meant to inspire you and show their future potential. Your plant may arrive in an earlier growth stage — ready for you to nurture into its full beauty. Seasonal variations such as flowering, fruiting, or leaf loss may also affect appearance.

What kind of pot will my plant come in?

All plants come in plain black plastic nursery pots. Any decorative pots shown in photos are for illustration purposes only and are not included with your purchase.

Why does my tree look like it's been trimmed or cut back?

Sometimes we need to trim taller trees to fit them into shipping boxes, as carriers have strict height limits. This should not be viewed as a problem. Trimming actually benefits your trees by encouraging new growth and branch formation, helping them thrive in their new home.

Are your plants organic?

We use natural, eco-friendly growing methods — things like avoiding chemical sprays, improving soil health, protecting beneficial insect populations, and caring for the environment through sustainable practices. Many people describe these approaches as “organic” or “spray-free,” although we don’t claim to be a certified organic nursery.

Some of our plants come from trusted growers who may use different methods before they reach us, which is normal across the nursery industry. And for interstate orders, we occasionally need to follow mandatory quarantine rules (such as a brief soil treatment) to help prevent the spread of pests like fire ants.

We also try to minimise waste by reusing pots and materials where practical and packing orders in boxes containing recycled cardboard that can be further reused, composted, or recycled at home.

Our focus is simply to grow and supply healthy plants in a way that’s mindful, responsible, and good for your garden and the environment.

Payment Options

Which types of Payment do you accept?

For online orders, we accept Credit Cards (including Visa, Mastercard etc), American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.

In-store, you can also pay with cash in addition to these methods.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship to my state?

We deliver to QLD, NSW, VIC, and ACT. For more details see our Shipping Information.

How do you prepare plants for delivery?

We take every precaution to ensure your plants arrive safely! Before packing, we thoroughly water each plant and nourish it with a mild liquid plant food. Then, we carefully wrap each plant and secure it in protective boxes. Every pot is safely tucked inside to prevent damage during transit. By partnering with top-tier courier services, we prioritize your plants' safety, making incidents of transit damage exceedingly rare. We design our packing process to minimise movement inside the box and keep plants upright during transit. For more details see our Shipping Information.

How much does delivery cost?

The delivery cost for your area is automatically calculated at checkout. We offer one low price no matter how many plants you order. You’ll see the final delivery cost before completing checkout — no hidden fees. And if you place multiple orders on the same day, we’ll combine them and refund any extra delivery fees.

How long will it take for my plants to arrive?

Most orders arrive within 3–7 days, though exact timing depends on your location. During peak seasons or extreme weather, deliveries may take slightly longer. Rest assured - we pack our plants to last up to 2 weeks in the mail.

How can I track my order?

After placing your order, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link so you can follow its progress. Tracking updates depend on the courier and may not appear instantly. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to appear. If you have any questions, we’re always happy to help — just get in touch anytime.

Pickup Orders

Can I pick up my order instead of having it delivered?

Yes! Just select “Pickup” at checkout. We’ll email you once your order is ready to collect from the nursery. Please note that pickup must be done in person — you can't bring your own courier company to collect your order. Please bring your order confirmation when collecting your plants.

When will my plants be ready for pickup?

You can pick up your order any time after completing your online purchase.

Please note, if you arrive immediately, there might be a short wait while our staff pick your order from the nursery.

How long will you hold my pickup order?

All pick-up orders must be collected within 7 days. If you're unable to pick up within this timeframe, please contact us immediately. You will receive an email reminding you to pick up your plants. Uncollected orders are treated as abandoned after the 7-day period unless otherwise arranged.
