Jaboticaba (Large)

Delicious non-acidic fruit with excellent flavour, the sweet taste of grape and lychee flavours. Self pollinating, likes full sun, fruits directly on the trunk. Fruits multiple times throughout the year, with up to 4 or 5 harvests per year. They are not commercialised due to their short shelf life after picking. The fruit is resistant to pest attack so most people grow them 100% organically which is a huge bonus. Makes a fantastic backyard specimen/fruit tree. The tree is quite ornamental and attractive. Slow growing up to 5m tall (can be kept pruned to 2m).
