Red-Flowering Ironbark is a medium to large evergreen Australian native tree known for its deeply furrowed, very dark brown to almost black ironbark and bluish-green lance-shaped foliage. In late winter through spring it produces **showy clusters of pink to red flowers, which are highly attractive to nectar-feeding birds and beneficial insects. A hardy and adaptable species, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, with excellent drought and frost tolerance, making it ideal as a specimen, shade, street or habitat tree in larger gardens and parks. Typically it reaches about 10–20 m tall with a broad canopy.
