Pitcher Plant ‘Ruby Lips’ (Sarracenia) is a striking carnivorous plant featuring upright green pitchers topped with rich red lips that attract insects. Growing to approximately 30–60cm high and approximately 30–50cm wide, it forms a clumping plant ideal for pots or bog-style gardens. Best in full sun, it prefers consistently moist, acidic soil and high humidity, and can tolerate cooler temperatures including light frost. Use rainwater or distilled water only and avoid fertilised soils. Suitable for temperate, subtropical, and cool climates with a winter dormant period required.
