The Bergamot Orange Tree (Citrus bergamia) is a small, evergreen tree known for its fragrant fruit and aromatic essential oils. Typically growing to about 3-5 meters tall, it thrives in subtropical and Mediterranean climates. The tree produces small, round fruits that are green when unripe and turn yellow when fully mature. Though the fruit itself is too sour to eat fresh, its zest and juice are highly prized for flavouring tea, perfumes, and culinary dishes.
