Jujube fruit tree "Chico" variety. An early fruiting variety developed at the Chico institute in California. Chico has a round shaped fruit 35-45mm and flattened at the bottom, with excellent sweet flavour. Texture is crisp and light, an excellent fresh or dried variety. Chico benefits from cross pollination so fruits alot better with a second variety of jujube planted nearby. Trees are grafted and ready to fruit any time, current size is about 50-70cm high.
