Giant Jaboticaba ‘Momotaro’ (Plinia momotaro) is a rare, slow-growing tropical fruit tree prized for its unusually large, sweet jaboticaba fruits that grow directly on the trunk.  This species is known to produce extra large fruits, typically reaching the size of a small plum or golf ball (around 4–6 cm in diameter), making it one of the largest jaboticaba varieties. Ideal for warm climates, it prefers full sun to part shade and consistent moisture. Can be grown in pots or in the ground, typically reaching 3–5 m, and makes a highly ornamental and productive fruit tree.
