Flax Lily (Dianella caerulea)

Flax Lily is a hardy and versatile Australian native that forms a clump of strap-like leaves, reaching about 0.5m tall and wide. It produces small, star-shaped blue flowers in spring and summer, followed by attractive blue berries. This plant is ideal for mass planting, borders, or as a groundcover in gardens. It tolerates a wide range of conditions, including drought and light frost, and prefers well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Flax Lily is also useful for erosion control on slopes.
