Cinnamon Tree (Cinnamomum verum)

Cinnamon Tree (Cinnamomum verum) is the true cinnamon tree grown for its aromatic, edible bark. When mature, the bark can be harvested and dried for use in cooking and baking. The bark and leaves are used commercially to make a wide range of heath products, medicine, cosmetics, perfumes, mouthwash, toothpaste, DIY crafts, and as a natural pesticide. The leaves are also edible and commonly used in teas, curries, stews, and spice blends. This evergreen tree prefers warm conditions, performing best in full sun or part shade.
