Cinnamon Tree (Cinnamomum verum)

Cinnamon Spice Tree (Cinnamomum verum, also known as Cinnamomum zeylanicum) is the true cinnamon tree grown for its aromatic, edible bark. When mature, the bark can be harvested and dried for use as cinnamon in cooking and baking. This evergreen tree prefers warm conditions, performing best in a sunny position or light part shade with well-drained soil. Under suitable growing conditions, trees may be ready for bark harvesting from around the second to third year.

Supplied in a 140 mm pot, approximately 20–30 cm high.
