Chinese Wisteria (Wisteria sinensis) is a classic, deciduous climber known for its long, pendulous clusters of fragrant violet-blue flowers that bloom in spring. It is a vigorous grower, reaching 8–12 m in height with a twining, climbing habit, making it ideal for pergolas, arbours, fences, or walls. Thriving in full sun with well-drained soil, it benefits from regular pruning to maintain shape and promote abundant flowering. Its lush green foliage provides seasonal shade before turning golden in autumn.
