Carambola (Star Fruit) Tree

Carambola (Star Fruit) tree. Currently about 70cm high strong tree, ready to plant in your garden. A star fruit tree can give you 2 crops per year (winter and summer harvest). Grows 4m high and fruits 2 years after planting. Best in a mostly sunny position with good soil and mulch. Star Fruit can be eaten fresh when fully ripe are sweet and delicious. They can also be picked early (when it is sour) for use in culturally important dishes for example in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesian style cooking.
