Melaleuca bracteata is a fast-growing evergreen shrub or small tree with soft, fine-textured foliage and a naturally dense, upright habit. It is widely used for hedging, screening and windbreaks, responding well to regular pruning. Hardy and adaptable, it performs best in full sun to part shade and tolerates a range of soils, once established being drought tolerant and low maintenance.
