Arrowroot (Canna edulis), also known as Queensland Arrowroot, is a perennial vegetable grown for its starchy, edible rhizomes and is much easier to grow in hot climates than potatoes. The tubers can be boiled, mashed, roasted, or steamed, with a mild flavour that works well as a potato substitute. It is fast-growing, forms dense clumps about 1–2 metres tall, and reliably regrows year after year in warm regions, making it a dependable source of home-grown starch.

Sold as an established plant in a 140mm or 200mm pot.
