Shampoo Ginger (Zingiber zerumbet) produces cone-shaped flower heads filled with a clear, fragrant liquid that can be gently squeezed out and used as a natural shampoo. This traditional plant has long been used for hair care, leaving hair feeling soft, clean and refreshed without harsh chemicals.
With lush green foliage and attractive pink to red flower cones, this tropical plant grows around 1–2 m tall. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil with filtered sunlight or part shade, making it both useful and ornamental in tropical or shaded gardens.
