Plum 'Yarrahapinni Blood'

Plum ‘Yarrahapinni Blood’ is a dual-purpose ornamental and fruiting plum tree, with red foliage, beautiful pink spring blossoms, and delicious summer plums. The fruit has dark red skin and red flesh, with an excellent sweet flavour and juicy texture. It is suitable for fresh consumption as well as cooking and preserving.  This variety typically reaches 2–5 metres in height, depending on growing conditions. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. ‘Yarrahapinni Blood’ is self-fertile, meaning a single tree can produce fruit without a pollination partner.

Low chill requirement makes this plum suitable for warm climates from Rockhampton to Melbourne.
