Feijoa Duffy

The Feijoa Duffy is a popular cultivar of the feijoa, also known as pineapple guava or guavasteen. This variety is renowned for its excellent fruit quality and adaptability. The Duffy feijoa produces medium to large, oval-shaped fruits with a green, slightly bumpy skin. When ripe, the fruit has a unique, aromatic scent reminiscent of pineapple and guava, and its flesh is juicy and sweet with a tangy flavour that blends hints of pineapple, strawberry, and mint. The Feijoa Duffy tree is evergreen and compact, typically growing to about 2-3 metres in height, making it suitable for smaller gardens or container growing. It features glossy, dark green leaves and attractive, fragrant flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer, adding ornamental value to the garden.
