 At Ladybird Nursery, your satisfaction means everything to us.
We take great care to send healthy, happy plants, but if something doesn’t go as planned, don’t worry — we’re here to help. Our returns process is simple, fair, and focused on making sure you’re happy with your purchase.

7-Day Return Policy

We offer a 7-day return policy from the date you receive your order.

Accepted Returns

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products, including plants or products that are defective, not as described, or no longer wanted.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Plants that perished or became ill under your care.
  • Plants that differ slightly from advertised pictures.
  • Plants that have been trimmed to fit courier box dimensions.
  • Deciduous or semi-deciduous plants that have naturally shed leaves in autumn or winter.
  • Gift cards.

Return Shipping Cost

If your return is approved, Ladybird Nursery covers the return shipping cost for defective or incorrect items. For non-defective returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Return Method

You can return items directly to our store, or for online orders, return your parcel through your nearest Australia Post outlet.
We’ll supply you with a prepaid return label to attach to your original box for approved defective returns.
(We don’t cover the cost of purchasing a new box.)

Return Conditions

To qualify for a return:

  • Plants must be returned in the same condition as received.
  • Ensure your item isn’t on the non-returnable list.
  • Notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order for defective or incorrect items.
  • Initiate the return within 7 days.

Processing Returns

Once we receive your return, it will be processed within one week.
If approved, your refund will be issued within 7–10 business days via your original payment method.

Exchange Policy

Exchanges are available when:

  • The item is returned in person within 7 days of purchase.
  • The item is in the same condition as when purchased.
  • The replacement items must be of equal or higher value than the exchanged items.
