Langsat 'Duku'

Langsat (Lansium domesticum var. Duku) is a tropical fruit tree native to Southeast Asia, prized for its clusters of small, round fruits. The Duku variety is especially valued for its larger and rounder fruits with thicker, smoother skin with little to no latex, making them easier to handle and peel. Inside, the translucent segments are sweeter, less acidic, and often contain fewer or even no seeds compared to other langsat types, giving Duku a milder, more refined flavour reminiscent of a blend between grape and lychee. Rich in vitamins and antioxidants, the fruit is best enjoyed fresh. The tree thrives in warm, humid climates and is widely cultivated in tropical gardens and orchards for its high-quality, premium fruit.
