Davidson’s Plum - QLD Form (Davidsonia pruriens)

The Queensland form of Davidson’s Plum is a tall, elegant rainforest tree with lush foliage and large, dark-purple plums that grow along the trunk. Known for its vibrant, tart fruit packed with antioxidants and native flavour, perfect for preserves or gourmet creations. Prefers part shade, moist, well-drained soil, and regular watering in dry weather. Typically grows 6–8 m high and 3–4 m wide, creating a beautiful feature in tropical and subtropical gardens. Larger and more vigorous than the NSW form, it thrives in warm, humid climates.
